The short answer

A suitable Sixtus Flightcase helps store equipment and accessories safely and protect them during transport. Choose by device, internal layout and complete load; have fit confirmed before purchase.

A dedicated place for equipment and accessories

Working in a practice, at a club or across locations? A suitable Sixtus Flightcase keeps devices, handpieces, cables and care materials organised and protected during transport. Keep the set together and check what is missing before departure.

The model determines space and layout. A foam-lined equipment case serves a different purpose from a drawer case or large team case. Match it to the complete set and available vehicle space.

What provides protection?

Sixtus describes the general series with okoumé plywood, scratch-resistant plastic laminate, aluminium edges and galvanised steel fittings. Plywood consists of layered wood; fittings are the metal components. The construction helps shield contents during storage and transport.

For the TCR 150 and Lasersix & Urtosix Case Trolleys, the manufacturer lists telescopic handles, two wheels, key-operated locks and 20 mm shock-absorbing foam lining. Ask how the device and accessories are secured. Fit remains dependent on the exact device model.

Which case fits your work?

  1. One device: start with its named case. Confirm model, insert and room for all handpieces and cables.
  2. A care kit: compare Team Bag, Bag Trolley and drawer cases for compartments, drawer heights and access.
  3. A larger team kit: compare internal space, vehicle fit and total loaded weight.
  4. Frequent location changes: assess thresholds, stairs, lifting and vehicle loading. Wheels need suitable surfaces.

Give your regional contact the full model, accessories and desired layout. A photo or packing list helps. Contact FRAMO for the Netherlands and Belgium, Sixtus Italia elsewhere. Also consult the equipment overview and practice checklist.

Safe storage and transport checklist

  1. Prepare the set. Switch off equipment and follow instructions for disconnection, cleaning and any cooling period.
  2. Pack dry and securely. Use the correct compartments or insert for clean, dry parts. Prevent heavy parts moving freely.
  3. Protect cables and handpieces. Avoid tension, sharp bends and pressure on connectors. Keep lids and drawers clear.
  4. Check the case. Inspect locks, handles, pull handle and wheels. Close it and account for total loaded weight.
  5. Secure it in the vehicle. Prevent rolling, sliding and tipping. Use appropriate lifting support for the size and weight.
  6. Check on arrival. Inspect equipment and accessories before use and follow storage and operating conditions.

Device transport and storage requirements remain decisive. For rain, long-term storage or air travel, confirm protection and transport conditions. A closed case is not automatically waterproof or approved for every transport method.

Ask about your device and layout

Describe the device, accessories and use in the practice or on the road. Your regional contact can address configuration, fit and current availability.
